The VR-843 is Ingersoll-Rand's heavy duty/high reaching telescopic material handler offering 8,000 lbs. lift capactiy and a maximum lift height 43ft. 1 in. The VR-843 has 28 ft. 2 in. of forward reach and handles loads 2.8 feet below grade. This low profile telescopic material handler has an overall height 95 inches in the carry position and will fit under an 8 ft. overhang.
The VR-843 is designed with a low profile A-frame boom mount, offering the industry's best overall visibilty. The engine is postioned low in the center of the frame between the axles optimizing the engines weight. This gives the VR-843 a low center of gravity throughout the lifting zones while allowing for a direct drive from the engine to transmission. the low mounted cab allows fir easy access on/off and positions the operator lower to the ground giving a higher comfort level when lifting loads to 43 feet. Wider is better, the VR-843 offers a wider stance for excellent stability and superb handling of loads over rough terrain.
